AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): A group of 30 French Muslim pilgrims who were invited by the Non-Iranian Pilgrims’ Affairs’ Office of Astan Quds Razavi visited the holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS), enjoying special cultural and religious programs prepared for them.
On the sidelines of the pilgrimage, Nazni Buneaux, a French professor and researcher stated: “It is the sixth time I have been to Imam Reza (AS) holy shrine and I consider this city my hometown due to the feeling that I have experienced here.”
She said: “Fortunately, I have always enjoyed Imam Reza’s (AS) kindness and whenever I feel depressed I think of this holy place and send my regards form far away.”
The French lady added: “The key to our problems is in resorting to Ahl al-Bayt and the real Shia Muslims express their love and devotion to them wherever they are.”
Buneaux continued: “Whenever I get the chance to visit this holy place, it means to me that Imam Reza (AS) has heard my voice. These feelings are undoubtedly mutual, and the more we are connected to them and enjoy this relation, the deeper our friendship becomes.”
The French pilgrim further noted: “It is Imam Reza (AS) who always invites us and when I arrive in Mashhad, at first I visit his holy shrine even if I’m tired. When I’m here, I don’t care about tiredness; on the opposite, I feel safe, happy and comfortable.”
She went on to say: “After Mashhad, we set out for Karbala and wish that this journey would not only be a pilgrimage but a profound transformation that would lead to a greater knowledge on God.”
The group also visited the central museum of Astan Quds Razavi and received blessings and spiritual gifts from AQR, the body in charge of the holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS).
